When you're booking with us, we'll always be sure to give you a clear breakdown of exactly what fees are involved.
The standard tickets sold on Ticketmaster are owned by our clients (venues, sports teams or other event promoters) who determine the number of tickets to be sold and set the face value price. In the case of resale tickets, listing prices are determined by the seller. When a ticket is sold, we pay our clients the money collected from the sale of that ticket.
Ticket prices are publicly posted on our site at the time of sale specified by our clients. We're unable to share ticket prices before that time. All per ticket service fees and per booking third-party order processing fees are decided in consultation with our clients. Ticketmaster does not set these fees without the agreement of our clients.
For certain events, Ticketmaster may not be the primary ticket provider.
The total cost of a ticket can be made up of:
Face Value
This is the base cost of your ticket, set by the Event Organizer – we're not involved in deciding the price, but it's usually based on the costs involved in presenting the event.
Service Fees
This is the only part of the booking that we keep – the face value goes straight to the Event Organizers. These fees help us to cover the costs involved in running our website and booking line. There are all kinds of things going on in the background – not to mention paying our hardworking staff. The service fee can vary depending on the event – we agree the amount charged with the venue or Event Organizer based on the costs involved in them putting the show on and us organizing the tickets.
Installment Fee
If you choose Klarna as your payment method, Klarna will apply an installment fee of 25 SEK. This fee covers the option to pay in installments and will be added to your total at checkout.
