No bags at major events

On November 1, the Police Authority made a decision to ban all bags at major events in Sweden. According to the Police Authority, an individual assessment will be made in each case whether an event is classified as a major event or not.

For those of you who have tickets to an upcoming event, we recommend the following:

Keep your self up to date with the latest on the decision on the police website.

Check out the event information for your event on ticketmaster.se or go to the organizer's / arena's website to see if information has been posted there for your particular event.

Please contact the organizer/Venue for further questions or details about your event.

FAQ

Which events are covered by this ban?

All major events in Sweden are covered by the decision. This means that all concerts, festivals and sporting events that require permission or registration are subject to a total bag ban for public visitors.

What is a major event? How many visitors?

There is no stated limit for this, but there is an individual examination in each individual case, the police will then notify the organizer of the conditions that apply to that particular event. There is a certain guidance for sporting events, including Allsvenskan, Superettan, SHL and Hockeyallsvenskan

Who is affected by the decision?

All visitors who are audience members of an event will be covered, but it is the organizer of the event who is responsible for meeting the conditions

How do I as a visitor know what applies?

The organizer is responsible for informing its visitors about the conditions that apply.

Does it apply to Diaper bags for children?

The decision is made based on preventing and reducing the ability to bring dangerous objects into an arena. This means that diaper bags for children are also affected by this.

Does it apply to pouches and transparent bags?

They are not allowed.

What counts as medical reasons?

The police will not require a medical certificate or the like, but it is up to the organizer to decide this upon entry.

Are all types of bags included, for example handbags?

Yes.

Why can't this be solved with a search of all bags on site?

The majority of organizers have searched bags in the past, but with the assessment that the police make of the current situation, more security-enhancing measures are required and therefore a decision has been made to ban bags.

To prevent the unscrupulous secondary market, all tickets are personalized and digital mobile tickets. The ticket(s) will be connected to your account in the Ticketmaster app as well as to your mobile number. Tickets will only be accessible through the Ticketmaster app.

We kindly recommend that you register a Ticketmaster account + add correct personal information and your mobile number prior to the general on-sale. When tickets are available, Ticketmaster.se could have a large influx of online traffic – please be patient. When it’s your turn, you’ll have plenty of time to secure your tickets. Maximum six tickets per account.

This is how it works:

Create an account at ticketmaster.se and sign in.

Select your ticket type.

Read through and accept the Terms & Conditions.

Complete the purchase.

When your order is complete, your booking will be available at your account in the Ticketmaster app and you’ll receive a booking confirmation via email.

A few days before the event, the QR code to your tickets in Ticketmaster’s app will be automatically activated.

The QR code will be scanned at the entrance directly through Ticketmaster’s app. As a lead booker, you must be able to show your ticket in Ticketmaster’s app, booking confirmation on email and a valid ID. If you have purchased multiple tickets, the entire party must enter the arena at the same time.

In order to use your tickets at the entrance on the event day, you must have downloaded the Ticketmaster app. You do not need Ticketmaster’s app to purchase a ticket – tickets are available through Ticketmaster.se. However, upon completing the purchase, tickets will only be accessible through your account in the Ticketmaster app.

A personalized is a ticket with your name on it. It can’t be used by anyone else. If you have purchased multiple tickets in the same order, your name will be on all tickets and the entire party must enter the event together with you as ticket holder and lead booker. Your Ticketmaster account and mobile number will be linked to your personalized ticket.

Tickets are available from 380 SEK + service fees.

Maximum order is six tickets per account. This limitation is set to give as many fans as possible a fair chance to buy tickets. The entire party must enter the event together with you as ticket holder and lead booker.
All purchases completed by bots, customers with multiple accounts to avoid order limitations, other activities that indicate fraudulent purchasing behaviors to manipulate said limitations or secondary sales will be annulled without refunds.

If you are more than six people, you need to complete a purchase through another person’s Ticketmaster account.

Because of the sound levels, the age restriction is 13 years old. Customers must be able to prove their age by providing a valid ID at the entrance. Valid IDs are for example: passport, Freja-ID, ID card.

The age restriction is strict: all attendees must be 13 years or older on the event day. This includes children accompanied by a parent and infants with hearing protection.

Wheelchair tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.se and the Ticketmaster app at general on-sale. The wheelchair ticket includes one (1) companion ticket for free.

The need for a companion must be substantiated upon a potential control at the entrance.

Ticketmaster accepts all bigger debit-and credit cards. You are also able to pay through Swish, Klarna, ApplePay or PayPal.

For bigger on-sales, all tickets could be booked quickly – that doesn’t mean that the event is sold out. Ticket inventory from orders that aren’t completed will go back on sale. Please be patient and try again.

Do not buy tickets from secondary suppliers if the event gets sold out – they will not be valid. Try Ticketmaster Resale, where you are able to purchase authentic tickets at their original price point from other fans.

Ticketmaster offers a secure resales platform through Ticketmaster Resale, where the price can’t exceed the original ticket price. Ticketmaster Resale opens on September 25 2024 at 10:00 and closes 8 hours before the concert. Tickets that aren’t sold will automatically be returned to the seller 8 hours before the concert.

Secondary sales of Ed Sheeran tickets through other platforms than Ticketmaster Resale are strictly prohibited. Tickets that have been sold outside Ticketmaster, offline or online (including Viagogo and other non-authorized suppliers), will result in an order cancellation and entrance will be denied.

Ticketmaster Resale is a secure and safe platform to buy and sell Ed Sheeran tickets between customers. Tickets sold here are authentic and sold at face value. Both buyers and sellers can be 100% secure.

The opportunity to buy and sell tickets through Ticketmaster Resale opens on September 25, 2024 at 10:00 and closes 8 hours before the concert. Tickets that aren’t sold will automatically be returned to the seller 8 hours before the concert.

Yes, you can but you need to attend the concert yourself. The reason for this is that tickets are personalized and linked to your account in the Ticketmaster app upon completing the order.

Start by checking your spam filter in your email inbox and check your Ticketmaster account. If it’s not there, please contact Ticketmaster Fan Support using this form.

On the event day, you need to bring your fully charged phone with the Ticketmaster app installed, because that is where your tickets are available. The tickets are scanned at the entrance.

You might also be asked to show a photo ID that matches the name on your tickets including the booking confirmation. The entire party must enter the arena together with the person holding all tickets on their mobile phone.

Valid IDs are: ID-card, driver’s license, valid passport.

If you have purchased multiple tickets, all tickets are linked to your Ticketmaster app and mobile phone number. That means that the entire party, including you as lead booker, must enter the arena together. If you have purchased different types of tickets (e.g., 2 standing and 2 seated), you must accompany those who need to enter through a different entrance before you enter the arena yourself.

Make sure to bring your fully charged mobile phone with the Ticketmaster app installed to the arena, along with a photo ID (valid ID card, valid driver's license, valid passport) and the email with your booking confirmation.

A few days before the concert, tickets will be automatically activated in your Ticketmaster app. Since the concert only has digital mobile tickets, no physical tickets or PDF tickets will be sent out. The tickets will only be available in the Ticketmaster app on your mobile phone.

Exact times will be announced closer to the concert. Keep an eye on your email for the latest information. Please note that there will be queues—arrive early so you have enough time to get in before the concert starts.

Visitors are allowed to start queuing from 07:00 AM on the day of the event. Camping outside the entrance is not permitted.

Make sure your phone is fully charged when you head to Strawberry Arena. If you still run out of battery, there will be an opportunity to rent batteries at the Box Office. You can find the Box Office between Entrances A and B.

Sign in to the app before you arrive at the arena on the event day. The tickets will then be available even if there is no internet connection.

By having personal tickets tied to both your account in the Ticketmaster app and your mobile phone number, and only allowing reselling through Ticketmaster Resale where authentic tickets are sold at original price points, we protect you and other fans from unscrupulous actors who deceive fans or force them to pay more than the original ticket price.

Professional cameras (i.e., cameras with detachable lenses), video, or recording equipment are prohibited at the concert. Simple compact cameras and mobile phone cameras are allowed.
Unable to sign in

Do you need to reset your password?

Follow these steps and quickly get back into your Ticketmaster account:

Go to the My Account sign in page.

Select Forgot Password.

Type in your email address and select Next.

You’ll receive an email or a text if you selected the phone option with a one-time code. Type in that code on our site and select Confirm.

If you’re using a landline, we’ll call you to provide the code. Unfortunately, we can’t utilize Google Voice or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) to verify your account.

Reset your password.

Verifying your identity

While signing in, you may be asked to verify your identity by completing a CAPTCHA. Just follow the instructions to move forward in the sign-in process.

There are a couple of reasons why this may have happened:

You were browsing too quickly for our site to catch up.

You’ve disabled the requested browser cookies.

A third-party browser plug-in, such as Ghostery or No Script, is preventing Javascript from running.

A New Way To Sign In

We're introducing a new way to sign in. You can now use a single password to sign into your accounts on other global Ticketmaster sites. If you have just one account, we’ll automatically link your accounts using your existing password and profile information when you access a new Ticketmaster site in a different country.

If you have multiple Ticketmaster accounts in different countries, we’ll ask you to set a single password for those linked accounts the next time you sign in.

Will the information in my profile be linked?

You can continue to manage your marketing and other preferences for each account separately, but your profile information will be linked to a global identity. Your billing information for each order is also managed separately, but this information won’t be linked to your global identity.

How do I verify my account by phone and email?
To enhance your experience and fight against malicious technology, we’re asking you to verify your email and phone number as an extra layer of protection against bots and other abuse. By delivering a code directly to your email and mobile phone, we decrease the opportunity for suspicious users to create Ticketmaster accounts.

Your account on Ticketmaster is not created until you verify both your email address and phone number.

Using your code

Your verification code is unique. It changes each time you verify a new email address or phone number and when you request a new code.

I get an error message informing me that my phone number is not accepted or supported, but I know my number is valid. What should I do?
Only mobile carrier or landline phone numbers are accepted. Additional methods like payphones, pagers, Google Voice or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) are not accepted or supported. If you’re still having trouble, please contact Fan Support for help.

What should I do if my verification code has expired?

If your verification code has expired, you can request a new code from the verification screen.

What should I do if I haven’t received an email or text message showing my verification code?

You can request a new code from the verification screen. If you're still having issues, try these helpful tips:

Email
- Check the spelling of your email and make sure that you correctly entered in your phone number
- Check your junk and spam folders
- Search your inbox for a Ticketmaster email from no-reply@info.ticketmaster.se
- Click Cancel to go back to the Account Creation screen and re-enter your email address.
- Make sure your email is not blocking or filtering out email transactional emails
- Try using another email address or phone number
Phone
- Refresh your screen and enter the code again
- Check that Do Not Disturb mode is not enabled on your phone
- Enable roaming and ensure data is covered by your plan if you're travelling
- Restart the device and then have the code resent to you
- Click Cancel to go back to the Verify your account screen and click Add my phone to re-enter your correct phone number

Payment error messages and duplicate purchases

Does not apply if you bought your ticket via Resale

We have received feedback from customers who have experienced on screen payment error messages when using Swish and other payment methods. We are working to investigate the issue. If you receive a payment error message on screen, please check My Account to see if the ticket purchase has gone through. We also recommend disabling any VPN services, Apple Private Relay or other proxy servers before your purchase.

In some cases, it may appear in your bank account overview that you have been charged twice for the same purchase. This can occur e.g. if you have experienced receiving an error message during an online purchase. Most often, one of the amounts will be listed as a reservation if you check your bank account overview. Such reservations are usually deleted after 2-5 working days (depending on which bank you use).

Can't find my tickets

If you cannot see purchased tickets on your Ticketmaster account, the reason may be one of the following:

1. eTicket
Your eTicket is saved in My Account and has also been sent to your e-mail.
Log in to the app or your mobile phone to find the mobile-adapted version of the ticket or download the ticket to your computer for printing.

Please note that the eticket has a built-in security system that only allows entry to the arena once.

You should be able to see your tickets in your account on Ticketmaster.se or in the app, and have the tickets sent to you via e-mail. Don't forget to check the spam folder and double check that you log in with the correct e-mail address on ticketmaster.se, as you have sometimes made the purchase with a different e-mail address.

2. Delay in sending the tickets

NOTE: It can sometimes take up to an hour for a booking to be created and for you to have your tickets delivered via e-mail and visible on your Ticketmaster account when paying with Swish.

Generally, you will receive your tickets by e-mail within a few minutes, but this can take up to an hour.

If the payment has been processed, you should receive tickets, even though it may take a while before you see them in the account or in your specified e-mail.

Should there be a temporary technical error in the payment, we will refund you automatically within 3-5 banking days and you do not need to do anything. If you have not received your tickets after one hour, please contact our customer service.

3. Your tickets are on another Ticketmaster account
If you have more than one email address, your tickets may be on a Ticketmaster account connected to one of your other email addresses. You must log in with the correct email address to access your tickets.

4. Email address error
You may have misspelled your email address when purchasing the tickets. If you think this could be the reason, you can use our contactform so we may be able to help you.
Ticket Transfer
Ticket Transfer lets you send tickets to friends before the event, straight from your Ticketmaster account to theirs. No more driving around town handing out tickets or waiting outside the venue for the friend who is always late! Ticket Transfer is convenient, simple and free. This can be done on your desktop or on your smartphone.

Ticket Transfer are available for certain events – if the Transfer-button is unavailable it means that Ticket transfer is not currently activated on your event. Availability can change and it depends on technical options and the event organizers.

Please not that for some event Ticket transfer will be closed the morning of the event. Tickets that has not been transferred then will be reverted back to the sender.

How do I transfer tickets to a friend?
1. Log into your account and select from the list of ‘Upcoming Events’.
2. Click the button to transfer tickets and follow the simple steps onscreen to transfer to your friends. You can transfer as many tickets as you'd like.
3. Remember, the receiver's e-mail address must be different to the sender’s e-mail address.
4. Your guest will need a Ticketmaster account. Don’t worry if they don’t have one, they’ll be able to create an account when accepting the tickets. Your guest will receive an e-mail invitation, and we’ll e-mail you as soon as they accept the tickets.
Note: Once your guest accepts the transfer, your original barcode for that ticket is no longer valid.

How do I cancel a transfer?

Ticket Transfers can only be cancelled if the recipient hasn’t accepted the tickets yet. Here's how you can do it:
- Go to ‘View Upcoming Events’ in your account
- Select the order
- Click ‘Cancel Transfer’
Please keep in mind that you can’t cancel a transfer after the tickets have been accepted, but your guest can always transfer them back to you!

Can I Transfer tickets that someone has transferred to me?

Yes, you can! Once you accept the tickets they’re all yours. If you can’t use them, you can transfer them back to the person who sent them, or transfer them to anyone else you like.
