Presales give fans the opportunity to shop for tickets before the general sale. Depending on the presale, you may need to sign up in advance, receive an access link or use a presale code.

I want to get presale access
Presale access is usually offered by the artist, fan club, venue, promoter, Ticketmaster or one of their partners.
Check the event information and the artist’s, venue’s or promoter’s official website and social media pages for details about upcoming presales and how to sign up.
You may also be offered presale access through:
- An artist or fan club
- Live Nation or another promoter
- A venue or sports team
- Spotify
- Your credit card provider
- An album or merchandise pre-order
- Ticketmaster
Not every presale is available to everyone, and some require you to sign up before a deadline.
I signed up but haven’t received my presale link or code
First, check who you signed up with. Your presale access will usually come from the organization running the presale, which may not be Ticketmaster.
If you were expecting an email:
- Check your inbox and spam or junk folders.
- Make sure you’re checking the email address you used when you signed up.
- Check the original sign-up confirmation for information about when your presale access will be sent.
- If another organization is running the presale, visit their official website for help.
Not all presales use a code. You may receive a unique link that takes you directly to the sale instead.
Who should I contact about my presale access?
If your presale is from:
- An artist or fan club: Visit the artist or fan club’s official website.
- Spotify: Check your Spotify account and email notification settings.
- A credit card provider: Contact your card provider.
- A venue or sports team: Visit their official website.
- A record label or merchandise pre-order: Check the original email you received for contact information.
- Live Nation or another promoter: Visit the promoter’s official website.
- Ticketmaster: If you’re eligible, we’ll email you an access link. Eligibility varies, so we can’t confirm in advance whether you’ll receive access.
My presale link or code isn’t working
First, check that the presale has started and that you’re using the link or code provided for that specific presale.
Some presales use a unique access link instead of a code, so make sure you’re following the instructions in the email or message you received.
If your access was provided by an artist, fan club, venue, promoter or another organization, check their original message or official website for help with your access.
I missed the presale sign-up deadline
Once the sign-up window has closed, you can’t register for that presale.
You may still have another opportunity to get tickets. Check the event page for other available presales or the general sale.
I have presale access. How do I join the sale?
Before the sale, make sure:
- You’re signed in to your Ticketmaster Account.
- Your email address and phone number are up to date.
- You have your preferred payment method ready.
- You have your presale link or code, if one is required.
Typically, you’ll receive your presale link by email or text before the sale.
We recommend joining the waiting room 15 minutes before the presale begins.
When you’re ready:
- Follow your presale link or find the event on Ticketmaster.
- Join the waiting room.
- When the sale begins, you’ll be given a place in the queue.
- Once it’s your turn, select your tickets and proceed to checkout.
Presale access doesn’t guarantee tickets. Tickets are subject to availability.

I don’t know what type of presale I have
Check the email, text or website where you first saw the presale.
Look for the name of the organization offering the presale, such as the artist, fan club, venue, Live Nation, Spotify, your credit card provider or Ticketmaster.
That organization will usually provide the instructions you need to access the presale.
