We sell tickets for many events that have a high demand for tickets. Getting tickets for these events isn’t just luck. There are several tips which can increase your chances for popular events.
How to prepare in the best way:
-
Log into your Ticketmaster account before ticket release and go to the event page. If you don't have a Ticketmaster account, sign up here in advance.
-
Make sure your contact details are correct. These are good for us to have if we need to get in touch with you quickly.
-
The queue does not start until the tickets are released for sale - Often you can join a waiting room for the queue a while before the ticket release. There is no waiting list for opening the page in advance(before the waiting room is open). Furthermore it can happen, that even though you click refresh, your browser doesn’t show the updated page correctly. If you have visited the event page, you should make sure to delete all cookies from your browser cache to avoid any potential issues refreshing the page. Read more about our queue function below.
- Don’t log in on several browsers. Ultimately it will not increase your chances to get tickets, if you are logged in on your account on several browsers. This can actually lead to you losing your tickets that are on hold since our system only allows one order at a time
-
Make sure you are using the latest version of your browser
- Don’t refresh the page in the queue or waiting room! If you refresh your page, you will lose your spot and will be put last in line again.
- Choose in advance what kind of tickets you want. It’s often useful to choose before the ticket sale starts whether you would like to sit or stand at the event. Furthermore we sell VIP Packages at many events, rather than just normal tickets.
-
Have your payment card ready. Most banks require Bank ID or other verification when you shop online. Please have this ready. To pay with a Klarna invoice, you must be over 18 and have good credit. Often (not always) you can also choose pay with Swish, Paypal and Apple Pay.
- You can see how many people are ahead of you in the queue. Watch your place, it could be your turn soon.
-
Remember to accept the terms and conditions and complete the purchase. The order is automatically deleted if the purchase is not completed in time. The transaction is completed when the confirmation appears on the screen.
-
When the purchase is complete, we will send a confirmation by email, so it is important that you enter the correct email address.
-
You can find your purchased tickets digitally at ticketmaster.se or in the app under «My account» and «My tickets». Read more about your digital ticket below.
-
Unfortunately, tickets cannot be guaranteed for major ticket releases if the demand is greater than the supply of tickets. So even if you stand in line, the tickets may run out before you arrive.
-
If you don't get tickets, come back a little later, it's not unusual for more tickets to be released or for consumers to not complete their purchases and tickets are released back on sale.
-
Stay informed! Inform yourself on the start of the ticket sale on our website, on Facebook, on Instagram, and in our newsletter.
-
We recommend you NEVER buy tickets second hand from unofficial operators (Viagogo, Biljettnu, Biljettshop, One Way Ticket etc.) where you can be cheated of both your experience and your money. If you are unsure, you can always contact the arena, theatre, venue, etc.
How does the queue system on ticketmaster.se work in practice?
- The queue starts when tickets are released, but you can often join in a waiting room shortly before the release.
- When tickets are released, those waiting are randomly drawn into the queue. You cannot influence your queue number in any other way than by being in the waiting room when the tickets are released.
- Once in the queue, you can follow your place and see how many people are ahead of you in the queue. Be sure to keep track of your placement to be ready when it's your turn.
- When it's your turn, you can select the tickets you want and complete the purchase as usual.
