We are introducing a new way to sign in.
You can now use one single password to sign into all your accounts on other Ticketmaster websites all over the world.
- If you already have more than one Ticketmaster account in different countries, we’ll link your accounts. The next time you sign in we’ll ask you to set a single password for those linked accounts.
- If you have just one account but want to create a new account on another Ticketmaster site in a different country, we’ll automatically link your accounts using your existing password and profile information.
You can continue to manage your marketing and other preferences for each account separately, but your profile information will be linked to a global identity
Your delivery address for each order is also managed separately and won’t be linked to your global identity.
Where is this available?
Right now you can use the new login on Ticketmaster's websites in:
- Czech Republic
- New Zealand
- South Africa
The United Arab Emirates
- United Kingdom
- United States
Why is Ticketmaster making these changes?
To improve user experience and account security. You will now be setting a single password across your accounts to minimise the risk of using an old password that may have been compromised. In addition to this, you'll also be asked to use a phone to verify your identity to be able to make changes to your profile and orders. As an added security measure we prevent the reuse of passwords, meaning that when you change passwords you won't be able to change it to a previous one.
How will my data be shared?
When you create an account or sign in for the first time to a new website, we will securely transfer the profile information you have already provided, in order to deliver our services in that market.
We will only use your data for marketing purposes where you consent upon sign-in to any new site. Profile information is limited to:
- First name
- Last name
- Telephone number
- Country and postal code
- Account IDs
Do I need to add my phone to my account?
All who create an account on Ticketmaster are asked to provide a phone number to verify their identity. In addition, existing users will be prompted to add a phone the next time they log in.
You will be prompted to enter a valid landline or mobile number and receive a One-Time Code via SMS. Once you enter the code to confirm you are the owner, your phone will be linked to your account and can be used for account recovery or to verify your identity when you need to make changes to the account.
What happens if I don't want to link a new account in another country?
Where you do not want an existing account to be used for access to another Ticketmaster market, you can choose to not continue.
If you still want to use our websites and apps you can register an account with a different email address that you own.
